When a painting speaks to you instantly
As a contemporary artist, I often witness this moment in people who visit my work. Some feel an immediate attraction to a specific dreamlike painting among those presented in my gallery in Ariege, France — discover my imaginary paintings.
When a painting catches your eye straight away, it’s not always easy to explain why. The colour harmonies, the subject, the composition, the overall atmosphere… something simply resonates. A feeling emerges — sometimes gentle, sometimes more energising — but always meaningful. The artwork connects with you on a deeper level.
This moment is special. It reflects a very personal encounter between a work of art and the person experiencing it.
